From 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm on August 22, 2020, Chen Hongbing, a professor and doctoral supervisor of Southeast University Law School, was jointly invited by the Criminal Committee of the Changzhou Lawyers Association and the Changzhou Legal Aid Center to volunteer for Changzhou legal aid Lawyers, all members of the Criminal Practice Committee, and all the trainees of 50 criminal defense personnel training courses in Changzhou, gave a special lecture on Understanding and Application of Common Crimes in Criminal Law.

Professor Hongbing Chen made a detailed and comprehensive analysis of ten common crimes in the Criminal Law.During the four-hour lecture, Professor Hongbing Chen started from the details, combined his years of research on criminal law theory with typical cases in judicial practice, and explained the common difficult problems involved in crimes one by one. From the interpretation of crimes, theoretical controversy, and judicial application, he conducted detailed analysis and conducted in-depth exchanges and interactions with the students.

Professor Chen Hongbing's unique insights and clear thinking have not only broadened the students' vision of criminal law theory study, but also provided new ideas and perspectives for future criminal defense practical work, and provided guidance for students to improve their ability to handle cases. The lecture ended successfully with the warm applause of the students.
