From June 23 to 25, 2023, the International Symposium on Sino-Russian Legal Education and Legal Protection of Sino-Russian Cooperation and the Forum of Deans of Russian and Chinese Law Schools were held in the Lecture Hall of Wanda Mandarin Hotel in Harbin.
The conference mainly covered three topics: Opportunities and Challenges of Information Technology for Legal Education, Joint Role of Chinese and Russian Legal Education in International Commercial Legal Services, Possibilities and Paths of Sino-Russian Cooperation in Financial Legal Services. The three themes of the seminar were Opportunities and Challenges of Legal Education, The Joint Role of Chinese and Russian Legal Education in International Commercial Legal Services and Possibilities and Paths of Cooperation between Russian and Chinese Financial Legal Services.
The seminar also invited all the participating experts and scholars to Harbin Arbitration Commission for a visit and exchange activities. Our faculty members had an in-depth discussion with experts, scholars and practical experts on International Commercial Dispute Resolution.
The forum was organized by the Law School of Heilongjiang University and co-organized by the Law School of Renmin University of China, under the guidance of the Law Education Research Association of the Chinese Law Society. The forum was attended by Zhang Wenxian, member of the Party Group and Director of the Academic Committee of the Chinese Law Society, President of the Law Education Research Society of the Chinese Law Society, Han Dayuan, Professor of Renmin University of China and Executive Vice President of the Law Education Research Society of the Chinese Law Society, and Habriyeva Talia Yalulovna, Director of the Russian Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law, and other famous scholars at home and abroad, which attracted wide attention in the academic and practical circles. This forum deepened the exchange and cooperation between Southeast University Law School and major law schools in China and Russia in the field of legal education, and further enhanced the influence of Southeast University Law School in China.
