On August 10, 2023, Prof. Wang Lusheng, Associate Researcher Miao Ze, Lecturer Bi Sheng of Southeast University School of Law and members of the Legal AI Revolution project team came to KU Xunfei's headquarters in Hefei, Anhui Province, to communicate and discuss the scenario applications and innovations of big language models in the legal field. Mr. Yong Wenyuan, Vice President of KU Xunfei and General Manager of Judicial Business Department, Mr. Wang Shijin, Vice President and Vice President of AI Research Institute, Mr. Kong Weijun, Chief Engineer of Judicial Business Department, and Mr. Li Baoshan, Research Director of AI Research Institute, accompanied the research and participated in the seminar.
The team of teachers and students from Southeast University first visited the Artificial Intelligence showroom of Xunfei, to have a comprehensive understanding of Xunfei's AI technology breakthroughs and innovative applications in education, healthcare, cities and other fields. After the visit, the team of teachers and students from Southeast University had a discussion and exchange with the relevant personnel in charge of the enterprise. Wang Lusheng, Director of Social Science Department and Young Chief Professor of Southeast University, introduced the general situation of Digital Law Laboratory of Southeast University, and at the same time reviewed and summarized the cooperation history between the laboratory and Xunfei. Afterwards, Mr. Kong Weijun, Director of Judicial Business Department of KDDI, made a systematic introduction to the teachers and students present on the application of KDDI's focused big model in the judicial field. Mr. Bi Sheng from Southeast University School of Law elaborated on the technical innovation of Southeast University Digital Law Laboratory in legal big language modeling from the technical project he is responsible for developing. Finally, on behalf of the project team of Legal AI Revolution, Mr. Long Xuan from School of Economics and Management of Southeast University introduced the proposition analysis, solution and realization dimension of the project Legal AI Revolution, which was unveiled in the Ninth China International Internet Plus Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition for College Students. The project Legal AI Revolution - Legal Big Language Model Industrialization and Scene Development, which is the proposition of the industry track, is updated.
It is reported that in July this year, Southeast University School of Law Legal AI Revolution team project in the Ninth China International Internet + College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in the industry track successfully unveiled in command of the Xunfei enterprise proposition big model technology in the new liberal arts direction. Big model technology in the new liberal arts direction of professional modeling applications, won the first prize in Jiangsu Province. This study and exchange activity deepens the consensus between Southeast University and KU Xunfei on the application of large language model in the legal field, and provides strong support for the two sides to comprehensively deepen the existing cooperation.
