The Executive vice-president of the Southeast University, Wu Gang; the director of the Social Sciences Division, Wang Lusheng; the deputy director of the principal's office, Liu Liqin; the head of the principal's office, Ji Junfeng; the dean of the Law School, Ouyang benqi; Gong Xianghe, executive director of the Institute of Human Rights, Chen Youwu, vice president and secretary-general Chen Daoying attended the symposium. The Symposium was chaired by the President of the Law School, Ouyang benqi, and the executive director of the Institute of Human Rights, Professor Gong Xianghe, gave a briefing on the work of the national human rights education and training base.

Before the symposium began, Vice President Jiang Jianguo and his party visited a special exhibition on human rights. Wang Lusheng, director of the division of Social Sciences at Southeast University, gave a brief introduction. As a new type of interdisciplinary research institution, the Institute of Human Rights of our University integrates the multi-disciplinary resources of the university and promotes the integration and exchange among the institutes, departments and disciplines, with the overall goal of a high-level national human rights and education base as its overall objective, we should build on our strengths to better serve the major strategic needs of our countries and respond to the major concerns of global human rights governance.

Executive Vice President of the Southeast University, Wu Gang, extended a warm welcome and sincere gratitude to vice president Jiang for his visit and guidance. Vice Chancellor Wu Gang introduced Southeast University's rankings and the Southeast University momentum of its strong and cross-disciplinary development. He said the university has actively integrated human rights research with its own characteristics, the combination of artificial intelligence big data platform and law has made obvious achievements in digital human rights research.

Professor Gong Xianghe, Executive Director of the Southeast University Institute of Human Rights, introduced the work of the Institute. Professor Gong Xianghe gave a detailed introduction on the following seven aspects: An overview of the development of human rights institutions, Remarkable achievements in human rights research, Steady breakthroughs in political advice, Effective dissemination of human rights discourse, Education, training and social services, Human rights practice Kalanchoe pinnata and The next three-year construction plan. With abundant data, this paper expounds the leading position of Southeast University in Project Establishment, book publication, Thesis Publication and Achievement Award, this paper mainly introduces the characteristic research and vivid practice of the theory of digital human rights and educational human rights, and reviews the process that the Institute of Human Rights and the law school make full use of the advantages of the think tank to explore and help the construction of the rule of law and the protection of human rights in the region. Finally, Professor Gong Xianghe introduced the construction plan of the Institute of Human Rights for the next three years, based on the national strategy of improving political standing, anchoring the layout of disciplines to highlight the characteristics of Dongda, and strengthening inter-departmental interaction, the basic idea of promoting the cooperation between colleges and departments, we will strive to make the institute a Southeast University for major original innovations in human rights research, a hub for leading think tanks and experts on human rights strategy, and a pioneer in the training of leading personnel from international human rights organizations. Ouyang Benqi President and Professor Chen Youwu made a corresponding supplement to the base construction.

Speaking on the construction and development of the Southeast University Institute of Human Rights, Vice President Jiang Jianguo pointed out that the Southeast University Institute of Human Rights is outstanding among the national bases for human rights education and training, acknowledging the work of the Southeast University Human Rights Institute and its efforts to develop a national human rights education and training base, and responding to the requests of the participants for relevant work, four suggestions were put forward:

Third, active voice. At present, our country has done a good job in the cause of human rights, but it has not said enough or said enough. The Institute of Human Rights should assume the role of an important think tank, create conditions and strive for opportunities to actively speak out to the outside world, fully demonstrate our achievements in respecting and guaranteeing human rights and contribute to global human rights governance.

Fourth, personnel training. We will strive to continuously send high-level human rights personnel to the United Nations human rights organizations, and strive to become a leading place for the training of international human rights personnel.
