On October 28, 2023, Professor  Lu Lu, Dr. Qi Meijuan and Ms. Zhao Ruhui were invited to participate in the 2023 Annual Conference of the Comparative Law Society of Jiangsu Law Society. The conference was organized by the Comparative Law Research Society of Jiangsu Law Society and co-organized by Shiliang Law School of Changzhou University and Law School of Nanjing Normal University, which was held in Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province.

Professor Lu Lu served as an expert reviewer in this conference, and in the theme unit of Comparative Law Theory Innovation of Chinese Modernization, she professionally reviewed the reports of the delegates, and as the director of the center, she had an in-depth exchange with experts and scholars on the new research results of the Center for Comparative Law Studies of Southeast University.

Dr. Qi Meijuan made a presentation on Regulation of Marine Pollution by Toxic and Harmful Substances by International Conventions and Implications for China's Legislation in the Youth Forum Exploration of Comparative Law Practices for Chinese Modernization, and had an interactive discussion with the experts.

Zhao Ruhui ,a Master candidate,reported on The Change and Response of Administrative Review Committee in the Youth Sub-forum.

This conference further enhanced the academic influence of the School of Law of Southeast University in the field of comparative law.
